Enjoy this magnificent canvas painted by Nature that you will encounter at La Fuente de los Azulejos in Gran Canaria.
Besides dunes and mountains a variety of small natural treasures such as the natural pools can be found.
Most of them are located on the north coast of Gran Canaria and offer an excellent opportunity to enjoy the seawater in a quiet environment and shielded from waves. One of the finest pool of its kind is the natural pool “Roque Prieto” in the community of Santa María de Guía. With a depth varying between 40 cm and 3 m, its rocky ground and the continuously changing crystal clear water it is a beautiful place to swim unconcerned.
The access is quite simple: to get to the pool “Roque Prieto” while driving on the highway GC-2, take the exit to the village La Atalaya. Upon arrival, go to the church and from there to the football field. The street GC-294 finally leads you to the parking ground near the natural pools. Enjoy the charming coastal scenery and experience the feeling of an incredibly relaxing swimming experience!
Guayedra Beach is located in the north of Gran Canaria, near the port and town of Agaete, in the Natural Park of Tamadaba.
If you want to admire the unique nature of Gran Canaria, we advise you to make an excursion to the Caldera de Bandama.
