Plans for children in Gran Canaria
May 17, 2017, 3:47 p.m.
If you are organizing your holidays with your family and children, you should know that Gran Canaria is a place where you will find great leisure offer. And you are going to enjoy it too!
Sometimes family tourism may be tricky; plans that may seem perfect for some, are not for others. The island of Gran Canaria offers great entertainment options, activities that can be enjoyed in family and other plans for everyone else to enjoy too.
If you are coming on holidays to Dunas Hotels & Resorts and you still do not know what to do, we are going to give you some tips.
The first, and most important, is that you remember that in our hotels you have Children-Friendly spaces where they can be entertained with various activities together with leisure coaches and specialized staff. One great thing about this is that if you just want to rest by the pool and under the sun, you can do it because your children will be well looked after and entertained!
However, as we guess you’d like to do other things than staying in the hotel 24/7, we are going to propose some other children-friendly plans for a bunch of fun days:
Plan nr. 1 with children in Gran Canaria: Holiday World Amusement Park
The biggest amusement park of Gran Canaria is located in Maspalomas, in the International Field – Campo Internacional-. It is a magical place where children always enjoy to the max’.
It opens 365 days a year, from 5 pm to 11 pm (Saturdays opens until 24.00). Children go in for free and will only have to pay the attractions they use.
Doesn’t it sound as the perfect plan for a holiday’ afternoon?
Plan nr. 2 with children in Gran Canaria: Aqualand
Aqualand Maspalomas is the place you are looking for if what your children would like is to spend a fun day under the sun and sharing lots of water activities with you.
It is located on the road Palmitos Park, 3 km. from Maspalomas, and it opens every day from 10 am to 5 pm.
Time to share some great attractions adrenaline explosion! Wouldn’t it be a perfect plan to share a day with your family?
Plan nr. 3 with children in Gran Canaria: Surfing lessons
If you are a more Nature’s oriented family, what about learning how to surf in the Atlantic Ocean?
If you have already been or read about Gran Canaria, you surely know by now that our coastline is full of wonderful beaches.
In the southern part of the island, very close to Dunas Hotels & Resorts, there are several surfing schools. The only thing you’ll have to decide is which one of them fits your needs best and ... ready to surf!
In Playa del Inglés there are three schools: PR Surfing (www.prsurfing.com), Björn Dunkerbeck Surf School (www.surfbd.com), and Surf Canaries School (www.surf-canaries.com).
But if your children rather learn how to Kitesurfing or Windsurfing than surfing in their next holidays, just ask on your arrival to the hotel and we shall be delighted to help you find the plan that fits your family best!
