Gran Canaria is particularly characterized by its climatic and geographic diversity.
“Playa Meloneras” has a promenade of 2 kilometres, starting form the lighthouse of Maspalomas till the beach of Meloneras. It is one of the less visited tourist beaches on the island of Gran Canaria, due to its location. The “Playa Meloneras” is situated in the tourist district of Maspalomas. It has a length of 460 meters and average width of 75 meters.
You can find around “Playa de Meloneras” several hotels, shopping centres, promenades, that connect the the light house to the beach itself. It is a pleasant walk, where you can even find even small bays. On this promenade you can find elegant shops offering first class brands and excellent restaurants, concentrated in two shopping centres. The first one is called “Centreo Comercial El Boulevard” and the second one the “Centro Comercial Meloneras”. This beach is highly recommended for families with children.
Guayedra Beach is located in the north of Gran Canaria, near the port and town of Agaete, in the Natural Park of Tamadaba.
The beach of Guigui is located in the municipality of La Aldea de San Nicolás. It is a nice nature reservation to explore!
