María Carmen González Martinez is one of our most loyal guests. Since she first visited the island of Gran Canaria about 12 years ago and stayed at Dunas Suites & Villas, she has remained faithful to her appointment with us.
What is it that you like the most about your holidays in Gran Canaria?
What I like the most about my holidays is the island’s climate and the warmth of its people. I haven’t visited around the island that much, really, because whenever I come my main goal is resting. What I usually do is going for lovely walks around Maspalomas and the beautiful hotel gardens.
What do you like most about our hotel and what has made you become such a loyal guest?
What I like the most at Dunas Suites and Villas is that I feel at home: Despite my age, I always come by myself, nevertheless, I never feel alone. I practically know the whole team and I consider them part of my family, so this is one of the main reasons why I have come back on holidays every year.
I usually come twice a year, in February and October, and in between I often call the hotel to find out how everyone is doing and to emphasise how much I’m looking forward to my next visit.
With her typical sense of humour and tenderness, she tells us that she doesn’t remember any particular anecdote from her visits, and she requests a stool to look taller on her annual photos with us.
