Gran Canaria is particularly characterized by its climatic and geographic diversity.
San Agustin Beach
The beach has a small promenade that leads to the beach of Maspalomas. It is a beach suitable for families, due to the fact that the apartments in the surrounding are property of canary families.
“Playa del San Agustin” is one of the calmest beaches on the island of Gran Canaria, due to its protection from currents and waves. It is situated in one of the oldest tourist districts and is located on the left side of the “Playa de Las Burras”, Veril and “Playa del Inglés”.
It has a length of 670 meters and an average width of 70 meters. Nowadays also “Playa de San Agustin” offers a rich commercial activity, including hotels, shopping centres and promenades, that connect “Playa de las Burras” to the beginning of the sand dunes of Maspalomas. You can find excellent seafood restaurants on the avenue. This beach is recommended for families with children.
