The distillery of Arehucas is an authentic temple of rum and an international reference of the culture of this spirit.
It was founded in 1884 but it was in 1935 when it began its exclusive rum brewing. Its cellar is the oldest in Europe.
Arehucas rum is a top-quality product. Just a short distance from the distillery in Arucas, there are three hectares of ecologically grown cane. This makes it even more special, a truly authentic product.

Visiting hours Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Bank Holidays it’s closed.
Entrance fee €2.5 (children free)
Guided tours are offered in Spanish, English and German (and, according to availability, in Polish and French). It is not necessary to make a prior appointment.
The tour ends with a rum-tasting and other liqueur made by Destilerías Arehucas.
