Volcanic trip in Gran Canaria: Caldera de Bandama
Another ideal place to go for half-day tour in Gran Canaria is the Caldera de Bandama, where you’ll be amazed by its crater and the wonderful views of this part of the island of Gran Canaria.

If you choose to enjoy half-day trip to the Caldera de Bandama you have two options. One of them is to climb El Pico de Bandama, the highest point of this volcanic area. From here, you’ll fall in love with a new perspective of the island while sighting the coast of Gran Canaria as far as your eyes can see. Another route that you can choose to go for half-day trip is down into the crater to discover the area covered with volcanic ash and the plant species that grew on it.
This volcano is four thousand years old and its crater is one kilometre in diameter and two hundred meters deep.
