Additionally, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria is the home port of one of the World’s most famous sailing gatherings which departs from the capital of the island. The ARC regatta started back in 1986. More than 300 boats from all over the world sail from the Port of Las Palmas of Gran Canaria across the Atlantic Ocean, drawing the most beautiful sailing boats picture you may ever see.
