If you’d like to enjoy a unique autumn in Gran Canaria, we are going to suggest some plans that fit perfectly with this time of year, as well as having a good rest while you enjoy the varied landscapes that the island offers you.

3 plans to enjoy autumn in Gran Canaria

1. Discover Valsequillo

Enjoy a unique autumn in Gran Canaria and discover Valsequillo will be worthwhile. If you have rented a car for your holidays at Dunas Hotels & Resorts, this is one of the villages that you should visit. Valsequillo is a town of great tradition, history, and charm. If you stop on the way to have lunch in Guajara Restaurant, your day will definitely be a great one!

Gran Canaria is not only about its beaches, the centre of the island is spectacular, and the views you’ll discover from the moment of departure will not leave you indifferent. The old town has a large pedestrian area, which invites you to go for a walk and enjoy its peculiar houses and charming corners.

2. Spend a day at Playa de Taurito

Enjoy Gran Canaria’s unique autumn spending a day at Playa de Taurito. Our island has many lovely beaches, and Playa de Taurito is one of the unknown ones. In it, you can enjoy a great peaceful day and its wonderful climate. Because, Gran Canaria’s autumn also offers you the possibility of going to the beach. Totally possible! The climate we have at this time of year is very pleasant, perfect for strolling or giving yourself a comforting bath.

Taurito Beach, more than four hundred meters long, is located in Mogán, very close to Dunas Hotels & Resorts. Its dark volcanic sand and calm ocean waters will make of this corner one of your greatest memories of Gran Canaria.

3. Discover San Mateo

Enjoy Gran Canarias’s unique autumn strolling through San Mateo, a town located in the centre of the island, less than an hour’s trip from Dunas Hotels & Resorts. Its landscapes are mainly green, steep; and with plenty of viewpoints to discover. The pure air fills this town, where walking around is a life’s pleasure.

San Mateo's main activity is agriculture and livestock, so it is usual to find flea markets and small shops where you can buy their typical products.

This plan will make you part from Gran Canaria with a broader concept of everything the island has to offer you.

So, if you’d like to enjoy a unique autumn in Gran Canaria, you have many plans that will make this time of the year one of your favourite ones to come to the island and spend some days at Dunas Hotels & Resorts.
