As every year the internationally known Opera Festival Zarzuela will take place in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. It is the most important event of the year for all lovers of Opera on Canary Islands.
The Zarzuela 2010 Las Palmas Festival is divided into 4 parts:
1. La del Manojo de Rosas (The girl with the bunch of roses)
date: 22.10. and 23.10.
time: 20.30 hours
2. La Revoltosa(the rebel)
date: 28. and 29.10.
time: 20.30 hours
3. El Cantar del Arriero (the muleteer’s song)
date: 19. and 20.11.
time: 20.30 hours
4. Antología de la Zarzuela (anthology of the Zarzuela)
date: 26. and 27.11.
time: 20.30 hours
How to get there?
The bus lines 30, 50, 150 leave every 20 minutes from Maspalomas. Duration: about 45 minutes. The bus stop “Plaza Stagno” is just in front of the theater.
