Dunas Club

This summer the Dunas Group will complete the transformation process of the former Hotel La Canaria, situated in Patalavaca, which had been acquired from the company Steigenberger in 2004. The renovation was integral, that means it was from the skeletal structure to the frontage of the building, including the size of the rooms up to the last detail of the interior decoration. Within a short time a new luxury Aparthotel will be on the market.

15 months of intensive work and over 60 million Euros were necessary to create a hotel able to satisfy the taste and requirements of the most demanding clients. The aim of the Dunas Group is to attract customers with high buying power to Gran Canaria. In order to achieve this aim, the Dunas Group looked for an alliance with Nordic companies, who are used to invest in different destinations worldwide.  As soon as the transformation process is finished, the Dunas Group will hand over the complex to the Nordic companies, that decided to rely on the group Radisson to run the business with the maximum profit.
