At Dunas Hotels & Resort we are always interested in the opinion of our clients. Therefore we try to keep all communication channels open: face-to-face at the hotel as well by making easier the direct communication over the internet (web, social networks, e-mail).
To learn even more about your opinion, especially concerning your point of view about our presence in the social media, we promoted a survey among the clients who know us best, the Dunas Club members. The survey was evaluated by language and we learned some interesting facts.
We asked them which social networks they are familiar with and the ranking was as follows: 86% know Facebook, 72% Youtube, 62% Google Plus, 57% Twitter and the platform Booking closed the top 5 with 47%.
83% of the Spanish speaking Dunas Club members use the social networks. 85% of them use Facebook and 55% Youtube. On the other side, when obtaining information about the hotel, 82% of them check the website of the hotel, 51% consult friends and acquaintances and 49% read reviews in travel portals on the internet.
Among the German speaking Dunas Club members 62,5 % use the portal Holidaycheck to plan their vacation. Furthermore they take into consideration the photographs (62%), the positive reviews (62%) and other comments (58%) in social networks, when marking a decision. 85% of the English speaking Dunas Club members evaluate their stay at the hotel with reviews on the Internet. The most popular portals where they share their comments are Tripadvisor (47%), Facebook (37%) and Booking (31%).
