For the marathon Open MTB Gran Canary in 2010 about 500 cyclists are expected including the professionals but not the children, who will separately take part in the activity bike&roadsafety.

The presence of the professional cyclists motivates many young cyclists to train even harder. There is a choice among 3 routes of different length: 38 km, 65 km or 86 km. The motto of this year: Security on the street is not occasional, but depends on you!

The 6th edition of the popular marathon will offer many  surprises: from a big choice on routes up to a raffle with many presents and vouchers for different activities. The final celebration is, because of the international participants, a good opportunity to meet old friends of the whole Europe.

The mountain bike marathon of Gran Canary is meanwhile a long expected and very popular event to ring in the "bicycle season", since it is possible to perfectly combine the training with a couple of weeks holiday.
