Dunas Group

After a long architected career, Ángel Luis Tadeo Tejera founded 20 years ago, in 1986, the Dunas group. He constructed buildings for other people in the south of the island from his office in Las Palmas of Gran Canaria. At the end of 1988 he decided to construct for himself. It was the first hotel complex, the Aparthotel Turbo Club, 3 stars, in Campo International in Maspalomas.

In the first years he constructed a small group of bungalows, called Tara. He also bought building plots close to the protected area of palm trees in Maspalomas. In 1989 two of renowned Dunas Hotels were inaugurated in this area: Maspalomas Villas and Dunas Maspalomas, both with horizontal structure. Actually the group consists of 25 companies: hotel sector, restaurants, construction of senior residences, houses, offices and industrial buildings. The hotel business is the most important sector.

in 2011 the Group celebrates its 25th anniversary and this was the perfect reason for us to produce and publish, after a long time of planning and meticulous shooting program with professional models, some videos showing the history of the Dunas Group, the past, present and future of this company, as well as of its hotels.
