“Playa del Inglés" is presumed to be one of the most famous beaches in Europe. It is a beach with fine and golden sand and has got the blue flag certificate since 1988. There is a walk on the coast, that starts from the “Playa de las Burras” and ends at the beginning of “Las Dunas de Maspalomas”.
“Playa del Inglés” is one of the most emblematic beaches on the island, known for its beauty and singularity. With 3 km of length it is presumed to be one of the most famous beaches in Europe. Nowadays around the “Playa del Inglés” commercial activities have been developed and hotels and offer shopping centres and promenades such as the “Paseo Costa Canaria”, that connect “Playa de las Burras” with the sand dunes of Maspalomas, or the “Paseo Marítimo”, looking like an avenue, with a length of 2 km, full of restaurants, bars and shops.
Playa del Inglés is certainly one of the most visited attractions on Gran Canaria for more than 30 years.
